About Lagniappe

On a chill April evening, eight beautiful ladies hurriedly makes their way through the wooden doors of the Herbal Club to be part of Lagniappes production. A tall black specimen with the looks and body of Adonis smile and wave them through. Seductively, they enter and are swept away in a mass of bodies jumping and prancing to the sweet soca sounds of Rude Boy Arron and Gladiators.

This was August 2000, Lagniappe took Notting Hill Carnival by storm. Eight hundred masquerades dressed in bright coloured Tee Shirt and body paint dance and gyrated their hips (called wining) to the sweet pulsating soca music played by rude boy Arron. Rum and beers flowed like water, sounds of horns and whistles added to the atmosphere. As the band made its way to the judging point on that sunny day in central London. Bystanders stood at attention and witness with admiration, “Lagniappe Spirit of the Caribbean”. All who partake of it enjoyed it immensely. It was the last supper.

Seven years later, the legend of the Spirit is about to return with a difference. A new look in Parties and After Work Lime concept. A new Image in staging these events at exclusive venues, we will be able to create the perfect ambience with style. A new sound in music, we promise will leave you continuously asking for more. The time has now come for the awakening of a legend Lagniappe’s, “Resurrection” another historic moment in the making you just cannot afford to miss.

Now Lagniappe after a succesful Carnival 2007 is now ready to continue their adventure and hope that you join us for the fun, lime and wassy behaviour. As we get things organised we will update one and all.

Bless..
